We have collected these questions over many many months. It may be a large list but we want to be clear and save you and ourselves the time and work expense of answering emails.
This is not to say that we don't want emails. It is never a problem to answer new and important questions.

How can travel incentives help my business?
Our Certificates have many advantages and benefits. This is not a complete list by any means, but to highlight a few:
A. Everyone needs and can use this free service.
B. You have access to Vacations for your family and friends at 80% to 90% savings.
C. Selling for Charities can help your community or a sick friend. (See Below for non-Profit Donations)
D. If used as a "Giveaway" in your own promotions and sales you give real benefits of between

Who Can I sell to?
You cannot sell to anyone! If you wish to use Certificates as a Donation Tool, you must be a non-Profit organization. (See Below)

Certificate Selling Restrictions:

You cannot sell on Auctions! Vacation Explosion strictly prohibits the selling of the certificates on all public auction sites, such as ebay.com, amazon.com, craigslist.com or any other similar sites. If you are found to be selling certificates on a public auction site, we reserve the right to prosecute, without notice to you, if our policies are violated, and/or if the certificate holders (End using customers) are given false information about the certificate offered by any person and complain. Can I resell the certificates to Consumers (the people using the Certificate)?

NO ! Sorry!
SEE EXEMPTION # 4 BELOW FOR: Non-Profit and Fund Raising Organizations such as Churches, Youth Groups, Schools, Little Leagues, Girl Scouts and etc.

Our certificates can be used in the promotion of your own business, products and or services, but must be given freely.

Never to ANY "End User" (Consumer)

You are required to give them away for no money exchanged!
     The sale of travel related certificates is highly regulated in most states across the country. You can be fined large amounts or money and/or be sued by a consumer.
There are certain Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and State Regulation rules to abide by.
Of these rules the following are the most important.
     1. Truth in advertising regulation: You must be truthful in ALL advertising. Some others in the past have advertised "FREE VACATIONS". This will get you in serious trouble and you can be sued by a consumer. Never use "free vacation" in speaking to or advertising to the public. If you offer a Certificate as an Incentive, You CAN use "FREE VACATION CERTIFICATE" or "GREAT VACATION OFFER" as an example.
     2. The Travel Trade is government regulated and "Vacation Give Away Certificates" fall under government jurisdiction.

Under regulations it is against their policies and rules to sell the Vacation Give Away Certificates to the "End User".
(End User) ::: is defined as "the person or persons using and actually redeeming the Certificate".
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SELL ANY CERTIFICATE TO AN END USER !
FINES CAN EXCEED $5000 PER INSTANCE !
THIS IS NOT OUR RULE ..... Government Regulations are involved.

3. Any Entity, (You) or any Business, CANNOT charge or receive a fee for any Certificate given out. They MUST be totally free.
4. Non-Profit and Fund Raising Organizations such as Churches, Youth Groups, Schools, Little Leagues, Girl Scouts and etc., ARE EXEMPT from the State Regulations.

THEY ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THE TRUTH IN ADVERTISING FTC regulations, but MAY CAN SELL AT ANY PRICE for their Fund-raising efforts. Back to Top

Do the certificates have an expiration date?
Yes, the certificates do have expiration dates. We renew them online periodiacally. We keep the dates on the Certificates to protect us from expiring offers no longer valid. Back to Top

Why is there an date on your certificates when other companies sell them without an expiration date?
We are not selling, we are giving these away. You have a minimum time period to just redeem the offer. If that time period runs out ... No Big Deal ... Just download a fresh Certificate.
Once you redeem the offer you will have at least one year to actually travel. Back to Top

Do I have to set my reservations and travel by the expiration date?
No. The expiration date pertains to the redemption time on the certificate only and not the actual travel dates.
Once you redeem a certificate, you will have a full 12 months to travel. Back to Top

Can I personalize the certificates to have my business name and/or website address on it?

How easy do you guys make it for me to actually redeem the certificates?
We make it very easy for you to redeem the certificates in THREE EASY WAYS.
You can FAX it in with the ID number given on each Certificate, send via Regular Mail to the address on the certificate or redeem it Online as 95% of our customers do.
Each Certificate is supported by it's own dedicated Website, is very fast and never has server overload.
We even supply you with a "Clickable" URL embedded in each Certificate. If you are online and click on the embedded link, it will take you to it's individual site. Each site explains each Certificate and has an FAQ Section with answers for 99% of all questions. Try it yourself. Back to Top

What types of hotels are offered?
The quality hotelsls range from 2-3 stars and are in the same class of hotels like Hyatt, Westin, Radisson, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Quality Inn, Marriott, Wyndham and Sheraton. The offer is based on availability, so the hotel the person receives depends upon which hotel is available for the travel dates chosen.
As an Example,The Las Certificate offers 3 days, 2 nights hotel accommodations for two adults in Las Vegas. You will receive a reservation form to specify the dates you wish to travel and then send in the form to the fulfillment center to have your dates booked. Then a written confirmation letter will then be sent to you to confirm your arrival date and hotel accommodations. Hotel room taxes are approximately $7 to $12 per night.
Again, you cannot pick the hotel, as the hotel you receive depends upon which hotel is available for the travel dates you choose. You will receive accommodations at a quality hotel similar as above either on the strip or in the main downtown area. Back to Top

Do I have to purchase airfare or attend any timeshare sales presentation?
NO ! No Gimmicks or presentations.
You are Our Customer and we would not ever want any Customer to be required to attend any timeshare presentation or be involved with any sales gimmicks. Some Certificates have Airfare and others do not. Read each offer for details.
Our fulfilling travel agencies will usually offer you an extension at the hotel, a rental car, and even the airfare. You ares under no obligation to purchase anything from the travel agency and you can use the certificate for exactly for what it is good for and no more. There are no high pressure sales tactics used. Simply ask for only what you want. Back to Top

How many certificates can I or anyone redeem?
You can redeem each certificate one (1) time within a 12 a month period.
If you go on a cruise, for instance, you then can use any other vacation offer but that same cruise.
This means you can use EACH Certificate ONCE during a twelve month period and then again after 12 months has elapsed.

How are you able to offer these Incentives?
Hotels, travel companies, restaurants, and other establishments contract with Agencies in order to provide these incentives This builds brand loyalty.
They offer these incentives to get people to use their services and to have them come in to see what they have to offer.
For example, hotels rarely experience full occupancy except during conventions, major holidays and maybe weekends, so what they do is contract with certain promotion incentive marketing companies, like us, to give the rooms away for a fraction of the cost to get people to come in to see what they have to offer.
You have to understand that when hotels have empty rooms they do not make any money, and it's a waste of a good room. Although they have lost the price of the room they can still let you stay for practically free in the hopes that you'll ..... Stay longer ..... Eat in their in-house restaurants ..... Spend money at their in-house shops and casinos ..... Take advantage of their amenities (spa, room service, etc.).
Then when you leave, after having had a great time, they hope that you'll come back to stay with them in the future and maybe even tell a few friends about them. This is how they make their money, and also by rebooking you or your customers in future vacations.
